FAQ

How is this different from a standard PMP?

A standard PMP is a static deal with fixed rules. Once it’s live, it behaves like a sealed box — no adaptive logic, no learning, no control beyond basic targeting and pricing.

Curated Deals are signal-driven packages built on first-party supply data. Inventory is grouped, filtered, and shaped based on real auction behavior, performance patterns, and contextual signals. The deal is not just a buying channel — it’s a controlled supply configuration that evolves over time.
Which DSPs can activate these Deal IDs?
Any DSP that supports standard OpenRTB Deal IDs can activate Curated Deals. No DSP-side custom logic, no proprietary pipes, no special integrations. All intelligence and curation logic live entirely on the sell-side, inside the TeqBlaze platform.
Can I curate partner inventory, not just my own?
Yes. Curated Deals can include:
  • your own first-party inventory
  • partner supply
  • blended packages across multiple supply sources
Curation logic is applied at the supply level, while ownership, access rules, and transparency are preserved. You decide what inventory is exposed, to whom, and under which conditions.
Do I need first-party data to start?
Yes. Curated Deals rely on first-party supply data. This includes signals generated by your inventory:
  • traffic behavior
  • auction performance history
  • pricing dynamics
  • contextual and technical attributes
This does not mean user-level data, personal identifiers, or third-party audience data. The model is built on supply-side signals, not user tracking. Without first-party supply data, meaningful curation is not possible.
What signals are included in the bid request?
Curated Deals use OpenRTB-compliant signals, including:
  • inventory and placement metadata
  • contextual attributes
  • performance and quality indicators
  • pricing and floor logic
  • deal-level identifiers and curation markers
No custom DSP logic is required, and no non-standard fields are forced into the request.
How do you prevent “empty” or low-signal packages?
Curated Deals are not created by labels or assumptions — they are created by validated signals. The platform:
  • requires sufficient traffic volume and auction history
  • excludes segments with unstable or weak performance
  • continuously re-evaluates package composition
If a segment does not generate meaningful signal density, it is not exposed as a deal. This prevents empty PMPs that look structured but fail to deliver bids or spend.
