TeqBlaze has joined AgenticAdvertising.org (AAO) and the Association of Online Publishers (AOP) to strengthen its involvement in the industry initiatives transforming AdTech. This reflects two publisher concerns: the technology that runs their monetization and what comes next, as AI agents take on more of the work involved in buying and selling media.
AgenticAdvertising.org: Contributing to the standards behind agentic advertising
AAO is a nonprofit trade organization that publishes the Ad Context Protocol (AdCP) and develops education and governance for agentic advertising. Its membership spans 140 members, including brands, agencies, publishers, and technology companies.
AAO gives us a direct path into the organization's working groups, councils, and education programs, so what we learn from sellers can feed into how the standards develop. AAO's Embedded Human Judgment framework keeps people involved in consequential decisions even as execution speeds up. It's also how we approach TeqMate AI, our AI ecosystem for programmatic businesses. It streamlines and handles repetitive work while leaving key decision-making in the hands of those who run the business.
Association of Online Publishers: Learning from the publishers we build for
Founded in 2002, the AOP supports digital publishing through research, events, and working groups. Its members include publishers such as The Guardian and News UK, and its Associate Member network lists technology companies such as Google and The Trade Desk.
As an Associate Member, we'll hear that directly, from how they run operations to where they need more control. In return, we'll contribute to AOP roundtables and webinars with what we've learned from building configurable AdTech infrastructure, including how infrastructure choices shape what a publisher can control.
What this means for our partners
Each membership serves a different purpose, and each benefits the companies that run on our infrastructure in its own way:
Technology grounded in publisher needs. AOP technical initiatives give us insight into publisher workflows and the constraints they face, shaping the features and technology we develop.
Practical knowledge from the publisher community. Taking part in AOP roundtables and webinars gives publishers a closer look at the infrastructure behind their monetization.
Sell-side context for agentic advertising. Through AgenticAdvertising.org, we bring the sell-side perspective into discussions around how agentic advertising should operate in programmatic environments.
Agentic tools that follow the standards. Taking part in standards work keeps the agentic capabilities we build aligned with where AdCP is heading, with approval and oversight built in from the start.
In addition to AAO and AOP, we are also members of IAB Tech Lab and Prebid.org. Across all four, our work with publishers focuses on how technology fits into their day-to-day operations. This perspective lets us bring that context into the products we build.
